Leningrad Symphony

The Leningrad Symphony by Dmitri Shostakovich was done in 1941 during the siege of Leningrad (now Saint Petersburg). It has a duration 70 minutes.

It is an 'invasion march'—a banal tune repeated twelve times in with ever more threatening and warlike noises over the top, representing the Nazis' march into Russia.
