Letter to the Inhabitants of Canada

On May 29, 1775, The American Continental Congress sent a formal letter to the Inhabitants of Canada (today Quebec) inviting them to join in the revolution.

The letter was printed in Philadelphia by Fleury Mesplet, the French language typographer of the Congress.
