List of cities in Belarus
The table lists capitals of major administrative divisions of Belarus.
There are two main grades of subdivision.
The major division is called "voblast", the minor is "raion", translated as "region" and "district", respectively.
Please keep in mind that the English orphography/transliteration is not stable, especially because of recent "derusification" of names.
For example, in older texts one might see "Ostrovets", "Gomel", "Grodno", "Borisov", etc.
