This is not a complete list (as complete as it gets) of world famous or important Vlachs. (people that have Aromanian descendency)

• Lucian Blaga, Romanian poet (his mother was Aromanian)
• Ion Luca Caragiale, Romanian playwright (born in an Aromanian family originally from Macedonia)
• Toma Caragiu, Romanian actor
• Gheorghe Hagi, Romanian soccer player;
• Herbert von Karajan, Austrian conductor
• Ioannis Koletis, Prime Minister of Greece
• Lazar Pacu, economist and politician in Kingdoms of Serbia and Yugoslavia;
• Simon Sina (1782-1856), Austrian financial magnate
• Blessed Mother Teresa, Albanian Christian beatified nun;
• Pashko Vasa, Albanian poet.

Note that "Vlachs" is a generic term that includes Romanians, but this list includes only Aromanians.
