2000 census, the township had a total population of 1,359.
Geography
\nAccording to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 37.7

mi²). 36.0 km² (13.9 mi²) of it is land and 1.7 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 4.54% water.
