Luis Gutierrez
Luis Vicente Gutierrez (born
December 10 1953),
American politician,
has been a
Democratic
member of the
United States House of Representatives since
1993,
representing the 4th District of
Illinois. He was born in
Chicago,
was educated at Northeastern Illinois University, and was a teacher, social worker with the Illinois state department of children and family services and a member of the Chicago City Council before entering
the House.
