Lynn Mabry
Mabry came from Sly Stone with Dawn Silva. Joined P-Funk in 1977. Lynn & Dawn become original Brides Of Funkenstein in 1978 for first album "Funk Or Walk." Lynn becomes pregnant and leaves The Brides in 1979 with P-Funk producer, Junie Morrison. Silva continues The Brides with back-up singers, Sheila Horne & Jeanette McGruder in 1979-1980. Mabry joines Talking Heads in 1983 for "Stop Making Sense." She becomes very respected background vocalists. Tours with Rita Coolidge, Stevie Nicks, George Michaels, Bette Midler and others. She is Business Partners with Drummer, Sheila E.
