Democrazia è Libertà – La Margherita) is a
political party in
Italy. It is a liberal party consisting of Partito Popolare Italiano, Democratici and Rinnovamento Italiano. It first ran for election in
2001. It is part of the Olive Tree Coalition.
The party president is Francesco Rutelli. They are a liberal party and pro-European. They are a member of the European Liberal, Democrat and Reform Party.
