Mark Prior

Mark Prior is an American baseball player. He is a righthanded starting pitcher for the Chicago Cubs. Prior is seen as one of the best young pitchers in baseball. In 2003, he finished third in the National League Cy Young Award voting.

Prior was the 2nd draft pick in the 2001 amateur draft out of USC where he won the Golden Spikes Award, given annually to the best colligiate baseball player in the US.
