Mary Moorman
Mary Ann Moorman was a witness to the
John F. Kennedy assassination. She was standing on the grassy knoll with friend
Jean Hill when the president was killed. Following Hill's death, Moorman remains the closest living witness to the assassination (not counting Nellie Connolly, who was in the car itself).
About half a second before the shots were fire, Mooreman took a photograph of the motorcade. This photo has become the basis for much of the investigation.
