Military technology during World War II

Military technology during World War II, which began in various countries from 1931 to 1941, included many information age tools of radio, radar, cryptography, and continued the application of mass production techniques to killing that military technology during World War I had proven effective. In addition, military training was itself considerably more effective and standardized than it had been in earlier wars.

It should have a comprehensive overview of military equipment and some 'glue' material on the tactics by which they were applied. It should not focus on technological escalation but rather on the exact specifications, problems, manufacturers, etc. of the weapons.
