Milkbone
Milkbone is an extremely powerful
instant messaging client.
It's still very much in its infancy, but it supports:
- Communication with AOL's servers via the OSCAR protocol
- Support for plugins
- Conversation logging
- Support for Windows and UNIX systems
Milkbone's distribution is only 190K, but it still provides a complete graphical interface. Screenshots are available at the milkbone home page (milkbone.org).
Milkbone is also written completely in Perl.
