Mizuho Bank

Mizuho Bank (みずほ銀行 Mizuho Ginkō) was founded on April 1, 2002, by the merger of Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Fuji Bank, and Japan Industrial Bank. It is now the largest bank in the world, and one of the four so-called Japanese "megabanks" (along with Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and UFJ Bank).

The bank is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Mizuho Financial Group.
