Multiple citizenship
Multiple citizenship is simultaneous
citizenship in two or more
countries (whether or not it is recognized by all countries). Some countries do not permit their citizens to have other citizenships, or only permit it in certain circumstances or for certain other countries. Other counties have no problem at all if their citizens are also citizens of one or more other countries.
