Napalm Death
Napalm Death is a
grindcore band from the
United Kingdom, and are credited by many with having invented the genre. The band have
no original members left - indeed, by the second side of
Scum, their debut album, the drummer was the only original member left.
The band earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records for shortest song, You Suffer which is exactly one second long and features the lyrics "You suffer. But why?"
Members of Napalm Death have moved on to form bands such as Carcass, Godflesh, Cathedral, and Scorn.
