New England

New England is the name of two different regions of the world:

1. In the United States, New England is the region made up of the states of Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.
2. In Australia, New England is the area in the north of the state of New South Wales, somewhat inland and centered around Armidale.

Both areas are named for England.
