Nianfo

nianfo (Japanese: nembutsu; Korean: yeombul), literally "mindfulness of the Buddha." is a term commonly seen in the Pure Land school of Buddhism, which usually refers to the chanting of the name of a buddha such as Amitabha to obtain rebirth in the Pure Land of the West.
