Los Angeles, California. Her murder (along with the murder of fellow victim
Ronald Goldman the same night) was notable because Simpson was the ex-wife of
football great
O.J. Simpson. O.J. Simpson was criminally indicted for the Nicole and Goldman murders, tried and acquitted; in a subsequent civil trial he was found financially liable for their deaths.
