Norwegian Air Shuttle
Norwegian Air Shuttle is a
Norwegian airline, with headquarters at
Fornebu outside
Oslo.
Founded in
1993, and till
March 31,
2003 it operated parts of
Braathens network on the west coast of
Norway, with
Fokker 50's.
On
September 1,
2002 it started operating domestic flights in Norway under its own name, in competition with
Scandinavian Airlines System.
Each of the eight Boeing 737 aircraft has a special design: white with a red nose, and a picture of a well-known Norwegian on the tail.
