The Order of the National Coat of Arms (Riigivapi Teenetemärk, in Estonian, L'Ordre Du Blason National, in France) was instituted in 1936 in order to commemorate 24 February 1918, the day on which Estonian independence was declared. The Order of the National Coat of Arms is bestowed only on Estonian citizens as a decoration of the highest class for services rendered to the state.
The Collar of the Order of the National Coat of Arms is the sign of office of the President of the Republic. There is only one of its kind. During the Soviet time, the Collar was moved to Moscow and it is now exposed in the Armory Chamber (Оружейная палата, Oruzhejjnaja palata) of Moscow Kremlin.Classes Of The Order Of The National Coat Of Arms
