Paddy was known to drink five pints before each match, during the second half he would take a water break in front of the vistor's bench. Paddy is most remembered for the fight with Frank Paquino. When the fight was over Paddy was standing bloodied, but his ear was in Pasquino's mouth. Later that night they both raced at the Franklin Turnpike Speedway finishing 1-2 in the Ho-Ho-Kus Open. In later years Paddy would coach Northern Highlands Football until his death.
