Paul Mac
Paul Mac (born Paul McDermott) is a
techno musician, producer and remixer from
Sydney,
Australia.
He formed the bands Smash Mac Mac, Itch-e And Scratch-e, Boo Boo And Mace, The Lab and The Dissociatives as well as releasing records under his own name. He has also played with Severed Heads and Silverchair.
He has done remixes for Silverchair, Powderfinger, The Mark Of Cain, Grinspoon, The Cruel Sea (band), INXS and Placebo. He has also done soundtrack work for Baz Luhrmann and on the films Head On and Sample People. He also worked as musical director on the Australian TV show Good News Week.
