Pelasgus

Greek mythology,
Pelasgus referred to several different people.
- One was the ancestor of the Pelasgians, whom Herodotus claimed were the oldest inhabitants of Greece.
- Another was the King of Argos; he welcomed Danaus and the Danaides when they fled from Aegyptus.
- Another was the father of Larissa
- Another was the father of Lycaon with Meliboea and the first king of Arcadia
- Another was a son of Niobe by Zeus
