The People's United Party is the ruling political party of Belize. It has 22 of 29 seats in the Belize House of Representatives, and is led by prime minister Said Musa.
The party governed Belize from independence in 1981 to 1984, then 1989 to 1993, and now again from 1998. In its first two sessions of government it was led by George Price, who founded the party in 1950.
