Peter Adams

\'Peter Adams' Member of Canada's House of Commons. Adams is a member of the Liberal Party of Canada. He has been in the House of Commons since 1993, and currently represents the riding of Peterborough. He is the Chair of the Standing Committee on Human Resources Development and the Status of Persons with Disabilities and of the Government Caucus on Post Secondary Education and Research. He if a former University laboratory Research director, University department chair, and an Associate dean.

Other political experience

Adams was the Liberal Party of Ontario member of provincial parliament from 1987 to 1990. During that time he was the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of the Environment.
