Photoflash capacitors
Photoflash capacitors are low capacitance, high voltage capacitors commonly used in the application of disposable cameras. Nominal voltage for a photoflash camera ranges from 300 - 330 volts. The nominal capacitance is around 80 - 160 uF (microfarads) in most disposable cameras. Professional cameras may have larger flash tubes, and likely contain higher capacitance capacitors. The capacitors' purpose is to trigger a high voltage
flash tube to illuminate the target.
