1949 film which tells the story of a young lightskinned
African American woman passing as white. It starred
Jeanne Crain,
Ethel Barrymore and
Ethel Waters, all of whom received
Academy Awards nominations for their work in the film.
Pinky was also one of two puppet pigs in a British 1950s television program Pinky and Perky.
Pinky is a characters in Pinky and the Brain.
The Pinky is the smallest finger on both hands in many English speaking countries.
