Plautia Urgulanilla
Plautia Urgulanilla (?? - ??) was the first wife of
Claudius, who would later become
Roman Emperor. They married in c. 15 CE. He divorced her in c. 24 CE accusing her of adultery and suspicion of murder. While they were married she gave birth to one child, a son named Claudius Drusus. Another child Claudia was born but there is some dispute to her actual parents, Claudius repudiated her.
Her father was Marcus Plautius Silvanus, a general and the first Roman governor of Britain.
