Portesham
Portesham is a
village in the
English county of
Dorset, situated close to the south coast, between the towns of
Weymouth,
Bournemouth, and
Dorchester. The village of
Abbotsbury is nearby, as is Hardy's Monument, erected in honour of
Captain Thomas Hardy, one of
Lord Nelson's commanders at the
Battle of Trafalgar. Portesham is also in walking distance of the
Jurassic Coast.
The Kings Arms is a traditional English pub in the village.
