Rob Newman

Rob Newman is a UK stand up comedian and novelist, best known for his work with one-time comedy partner David Baddiel. The pair worked together on The Mary Whitehouse Experience (both on radio and TV) and in the one off series Baddiel and Newman In Pieces. Newman was often considered a bit of a hearthrob and could well have been partly responsible, albeit inadvertently, for the notion that comedy was becoming the new rock 'n' roll in the early '90s.
