Roscoe Gardner Bartlett (born
June 3 1926),
American politician,
has been a
Republican member of the
United States House of Representatives since
1993,
representing the 6th District of
Maryland. He was born in Moreland, Kentucky,
was educated at the
University of Maryland (MD and PhD), and was a physician, a faculty member at the
University of Maryland and at Loma Linda School of Medicine in
Loma Linda, California and an assistant professor at Howard University Medical School before entering
the House.
