Ross Cuthbert

Ross Cuthbert (1776-1861) was heir to the seigniories of Lanoraie and Dautray. He completed his studies of law in Philadelphia where he married Emily Rush, dauther of one of the signatories of the Declaration of American Independence.

Writer, lawyer, he sits at the Executive Council and the Legislative Parliament of Lower Canada. He published Aéropage in Québec City in 1803.
