Samburu District

Samburu District is an area roughly 8000 square miles in northern Kenya where the Samburu tribe live. It streches north from the Wuaso Ng'iro River to the the south of Lake Turkana and also includes Mount Kulal which lies just east of Lake Turkana.

Within Samburu district you will find the towns of Maralal, Baragoi, Archers Post, South Horr, Wamba and Lodosoit.

It also includes the Samburu Game Reserve, Mount Ng'iro, Ndoro Mountains, Ol Doinyo Lenkiyieu (Mathews Range), Kirisia Hills and Loroki Forest.
