Scanlation

Scanlation is a term used for unlicensed manga which has been translated and scanned by manga fans. Scanlations are distributed via the internet, either by direct download, BitTorrent or IRC. Most scanlators, like fansubbers, stop distributing scanlations for manga that have been licensed.
