census of 2000, there are 333 people, 88 households, and 74 families residing in the town. The population density is 24.2/km² (62.6/mi²). There are 104 housing units at an average density of 7.5/km² (19.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 0.30% White, 0.30% African American, 98.50% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.90% from two or more races. 2.40% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 88 households out of which 46.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.9% are married couples living together, 30.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 14.8% are non-families. 12.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.78 and the average family size is 4.08.
