Sennheiser
Sennheiser is a German pro audio company founded in 1945 by Prof. Dr. Fritz Sennheiser (born 1912). In 1982 he handed the management over to his son, Jörg Sennheiser. Jörg Sennheiser is honorary professor (since 1991) and holds lectures about electro acoustics at the University of
Hanover since 1981.
The company is famous for its headphones, and also for its (very expensive and high signal-to-noise ratio) microphones.
