Sharon, Vermont
Sharon is a town located in
Windsor County, Vermont. As of the
2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,411.
It was the birthplace of Joseph Smith, Jr (
1804-
1844), the translator of the
Book of Mormon and founder of the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
