Single malt whiskey
Single malt whiskey, sometimes spelled
whisky, is an
alcoholic beverage which comes from a single
distillery, in which all the
grain used for the mash has been malted. Many quality whiskies (
Single Malt Scotch for example) are single malt whiskies. Most single malt whiskies are distilled using a
pot still.
