Snake (video game)
Snake is a
video game the is best known in the late 1990s as an addictive game on cellphones. It is a relatively simple program involving a long, thin creature that roams around, picking up food (or some other such item), trying to avoid hitting its own tail or the "walls" around it. Each time the snake eats a piece of food, its tail grows longer, thus making the game more and more difficult. The user controls the direction of the snake's head (up, down, left, or right), and the snake's body follows.
Some better-known versions include the Neopets example, which is known as "Meerca Chase."
