Standard of living in the United States
The
standard of living in the United States is considered among the highest in the world. By measures of material wealth such as "per capita income" or per capita consumption, the
United States ranks higher than almost all countries. However, a "standard of living" is subjective and open to different interpretations. Some say that it should be measured by more than just facts; important subjective factors could include legal structure, freedom, equality, and crime rates.
