census of 2000, there are 448 people, 127 households, and 100 families residing in the township. The population density is 4.2/km² (10.8/mi²). There are 134 housing units at an average density of 1.3/km² (3.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.66% White, 0.45% African American, 0.67% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. 0.45% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 127 households out of which 40.2% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 73.2% are married couples living together, 3.1% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.5% are non-families. 16.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.71 and the average family size is 3.08.
