Their first album, "Take That and Party," features mostly fast-paced dance tracks with whimsical lyrics, but the most popular release from that album was "Why Can't I Wake Up With You," an airy, melodious ballad from the point of view of a guy seeking to take a relationship to the next level.
"Nobody Else" evokes more of a mood of love lost instead of love sought, as evidenced by take-me-back tracks "Pray" and "Back For Good." Foreshadowing the group's post-climactic decline is the nostalgic "Never Forget."
Robbie Williams is generally considered the most successful Take That solo alumnus, as he got out while his stock was still high. Multiple solo album releases by Gary Barlow and Mark Owen have not caused much of a stir outside the realm of old Take That die-hard fans.
