Taplow is a village near Maidenhead, in England. It is in the Unitary Authority of Windsor and Maidenhead.

The village name is Anglo Saxon in origin, and means 'Tæppa's hill'. It was recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086 as Thapeslau.
