Taurus Bulba

Taurus Bulba is a fictional character created for the series Darkwing Duck. He is a villain who appeared in the pilot episode titled Darkly Dawns the Duck and Steerminator. Taurus was Darkwing's first enemy as far as the series goes. He stole The Waddlemeyer Ramrod and kidnapped Gosalyn Waddlemeyer, but Darkwing defeated him. Later he was brought back to life by Steelbeak and his fellow F.O.W.L. agents and tried to get revenge on Darkwing but he was defeated again.

The character's name comes from the title character Taras Bulba, the eponymous protagonist in Nikolai Gogol's novelette, The Nose.
