Tofino, British Columbia
Tofino is a small town of about 1,400 residents on the west coast of
Vancouver Island. A popular tourist destination in the summer, its population swells to over 22,000. It is the closest town to
Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. It attracts
surfers, nature lovers, campers
[1], whale watchers, or anyone just looking to be close to nature. In the winter it is not as busy, however, many people visit Tofino and the west coast to watch storms on the water (storm watching).
