Tomb Raider (movie)
Most recently, the idea of
Tomb Raider has been extended beyond being just a
video game. During the summer of
2001,
Lara Croft made her big screen debut on
movie theatres across America and other countries. Lara however, in her new screen role, was not portrayed as an animated computer character, but was played by a live movie actress,
Angelina Jolie.
The film was shot on location at Angkor, Cambodia.
During the summer of 2003, the sequel, Lara Croft Tomb Raider : The Cradle of Life, made its way into theatres across the United States and other countries around the world.
