Tri-Lakes is a town located in Whitley County, Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 3,925.

census of 2000, there are 3,925 people, 1,480 households, and 1,164 families residing in the town. The population density is 43.1/km² (111.6/mi²). There are 1,652 housing units at an average density of 18.1/km² (47.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.88% White, 0.08% African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.31% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.18% from other races, and 0.36% from two or more races. 0.61% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
