UK.TV

UK.TV is a television channel on cable and satellite in Australasia, showing the 'Best of British' entertainment from the UK, sourced mainly from the archives of the BBC, Thames and ITV, as well as from Grundy in Australia, best known as the producer of Neighbours. It is a joint venture between Foxtel, BBC Worldwide, and Fremantle Media, who now own Thames and Grundy.

It was first launched in Australia in August 1996, and became available in New Zealand in November 2003. It shows popular British soap operas like the BBC's EastEnders and Granada's Coronation Street, as well as Australian dramas like Prisoner, known in the UK as Prisoner Cell Block H.

UK.TV should not be confused with Granada UKTV, an entirely separate channel operated by the British ITV company Granada, or the UKTV network, a collaboration between the BBC and Flextech Television that operates in the UK.
