University College, U of T
University College is a lively academic community of students, faculty, staff and alumni in the
University of Toronto. UC has been proud of its twin traditions of academic strength and openness to diversity ever since it was founded in
1853 as "The Provincial College" to provide university education in
Ontario without regard to religious privilege. UC's 3500 students and 100 faculty make their academic home in the glorious University College building, a National Historic Site at the heart of the St. George campus.
