Venstre (Denmark)

Venstre is a major Danish political party. In the 2001 parliamentary elections, it got 31% of the vote, and 56 out of 179 seats. It is led by Anders Fogh Rasmussen, the Prime Minister, and governs in coalition with the Conservative People's Party.

In the European Parliament it is grouped with the European Liberal, Democrat and Reform Party, and is a member of Liberal International.
